WTF Wednesdays... An Introduction

I am fairly new to the marketing and video space. I consider myself a fast and eager learner and because of that I would like to think I have learned much more than has been expected of me in a very short amount of time. Even with that, I don't feel like I am at a place where I could or should be sharing tips and tricks about the things I've learned because I am still learning them.

What I would like to do, though, is to share what I've learned from the unique perspective of someone who is still learning. I think it's easy for us to scroll through social media and find tons of people selling us snake oil and saying that they have the perfect tips for XYZ. But I feel like I rarely see someone who is deep in the weeds just trying to figure stuff out. So that's what this will be!

WTF Wednesdays will be a series of things that I have learned and am excited about but desire more information on. It's partly a celebration of newfound knowledge and partly a cry for help. I do not want this to be interpreted as "Andrew thinks he's good enough to speak on these topics, pfft." I'm NOT good enough to speak on these topics and that's why I want to share about them.

Eventually, I think WTF Wednesdays may could foster conversations between pros and beginners. In this way there is information being shared that is truly at the entry level instead of it coming from pros. I think there is value in the ignorance I have so that way I can hopefully portray more complex ideas and information in accessible ways.

Some of the topics I want to talk about in WTF Wednesdays are:

• Video Marketing

• Inbound Marketing

• Social Media

• and maybe even take requests.

I hope this idea makes sense and I hope people will be along for the ride. Worst case scenario is that it's a total flop and I only make it a couple of times. If you have any suggestions for topics that you would like to have explored in an entry level way, feel free to shoot me your ideas!
