I love seeing videos of what other people pack for an everyday shooting style. It shows the type of photographer someone is and also gives insights into the tech that could be helpful to add to my own setup. I like to think of myself as a photographer with minimal needs so I needed a bag that fulfilled those needs while also not interfering with my daily use also. I think I found the best bag to do that in the Brevité: The Jumper.

This bag came into my life at the perfect time. I was about to go on a week-long trip for my job and I needed a bag that was low-profile, comfortable, and functional. This bag, thankfully, checked all of my boxes. With a top pocket for loose items, a lower segmented pocket for camera gear with a side access panel, a smaller zip pocket at the front, and a laptop sleeve, I knew I would be able to carry all of my essentials in one small form factor. Once I got the bag I had to organize it, though and that's where this bag really shines.

The top pocket where loose items go normally holds my journal, a Kindle, and my tech pouch which holds all my spare wires, chargers, etc. I find that these fit rather comfortably in this pocket and I would imagine this would also do well for someone who'd like to pack an outfit or two if you're going on a short trip. There's also a hidden zipper in this pocket for small items as well.
The bottom compartment comes with velcro dividers that you can arrange in any way you'd like to fit the camera gear that best suits your needs. I normally keep the setup unchanged from project to project because I have minimal camera gear as it is. In this section I keep my Canon R8 fixed with my 24-105 f/4 lens, a 50mm prime lens, my DJI Mic 2 pack, and sometimes a spare flash. This is a tight fit in some areas but I find that it's perfect for the amount of tech I have and the quick access side zip allows me to get to my camera without having to deal with the mess of opening the main compartment.
In the small front zipper I keep other small daily essentials. This is where I stow away extra batteries, business cards, headphones, ND filters, SD cards and SSD drives, and more. I could probably fit more in this section if I tried but I find these things are all I need to be prepared for most situations.
The side pocket is perfect for water bottles or small tripods. I, however, use it to stow away my DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I've found that with the battery grip and tripod mount attached to the Pocket 3 it is the perfect size to fit in this pocket and can even be secured by the included strap. For larger tripods, there are two straps at the bottom of the bag for easy buckling.

Finally on the back of the backpack are two compartments, one for a laptop and one for a wallet. Now, since I've traded in my Macbook Pro for the M4 Mac Mini, I put the 11inch iPad Pro in this pocket instead. I can easily fit the iPad Pro in here with a Macbook Pro if I wanted to, that's how roomy it is.
And there you have it! That's the daily camera gear I carry with me on most of my shoots and the all-in-one bag I do it with. If you'd like to see or hear more about my camera gear or other tech please let me know!
